Progresso Holiday Giveaway!

Christmas is coming.....and my friends at Blogspark and Progesso have given me three Progresso “Perfect Recipe” gift baskets to share with my readers for the holidays!

The gift baskets include a free coupon for Progresso Broth , a recipe card holder, a recipe box, wicker basket, a set of serving utensils and a spoon rest. A great help to prepare your holiday meals!

All you have to do is leave me a comment telling me your favorite holiday recipe! I have many recipes that I love so it is hard to single them out, but my favorite stuffing of all time is my mom's Crockpot Mushroom Stuffing. Nothing else can compare in my opinion and it isn't a holiday table unless we have that recipe!

Be sure to leave your comment by Noon on Saturday, December 6, 2008 and I will pick 3 winners that evening.

For all my readers, I would like you to have a coupon for Progresso broth. Please click on the link below for your coupon!

I look forward to hearing what your favorite holiday dish is!

What a great giveaway!! Let me see.... it's so difficult to pick just one favourite dish.... But I guess my most favourite dish would be my homemade tiramisu for dessert..... :)

One favorite? I can only choose one? LOL
My favorite is (maybe, possibly, only one huh?) the hot buttered rum mix we make from scratch. My grandma always made it (on the other side it was Tom and Jerry's) and as kids we got to have non-alcoholic hot buttered --- while we opened gifts.
so much fun...the snow, the music, the hot buttereds.
Now days I do like a bit of the rum.

My favorite is something we only have at Christmas time - it's an Apple, Walnut, Cranberry Salad...it has marshmellows in it, which sounds funny but with the juices from some citrus fruit they become perfectly tasty and the whole combination melts in your mouth!

I would have to say Lasagna...everyone loves it and it gives me such pleasure to see them all really enjoying a meal.

As a child, my grandmother always made Swiss Steak with gravy on Christmas Eve. I loved it and have never been able to duplicate her recipe even though I tried for several years.

While I wouldn't consider it Thanksgiving without green bean casserole, my absolutely favorite holiday dish is my family's chestnut apple stuffing. I start craving it as soon as it starts to get chilly. :-)

My mom always made Cherries Jubilee for Christmas Eve. We always looked forward to the moment when she would turn out the lights, add the brandy and light it up! The pretty blue flame was a big hit with us kids.

I love all Christmas foods, but one of my favorites is something I make called Russian Creme. It is a molded dessert that is very creamy tasting with berries on top. Very pretty and tasty. What a great give-a-way!

It just wouldn't be the holidays without my dad making lefse. It's been a family tradition for years and years.
